Webb5 dec. 2006 · It would seem that without a coolant bypass in the system that the motor would develop hot spots, like between the exhaust valves of 3 + 5 and 4 +6, since there would not be any flow to speak of (while the T-stat is closed). Should I install a bypass to get the coolant flowing while the motor warms up???
